Our Forest School
Forest School is a holistic approach used all over the globe and provides many opportunities for children to develop their communication and social skills. They will also develop physically, intellectually and emotionally through connections they make with nature and the woodland environment. We aim to create opportunities for children to take measured risks, learn more about themselves and their relationships with others. Under the guidance of a fully qualified Forest School leader we aim for children to experience the wonder of nature in a safe, secure and supported environment.

Meet Eleanor!
I discovered Forest School almost by chance while working as a gardener, but it instantly felt like the perfect fit. I started with the Forest School Assistant course and loved it so much that I went straight on to qualify as a Forest School Leader in 2024 through Plumpton College. I've always been an outdoorsy person – growing up with horses, dogs, and chickens – and all my studies have focused on the environment and conservation. I was lucky to be raised by a creative “Blue Peter mum” who sparked my imagination and love for arts and crafts, something I now bring into my work with children. Supporting early years children as they explore nature, take risks, and grow in confidence is incredibly rewarding. I grew up just around the corner and still live locally, so being able to share my passion for the outdoors with children in my own community feels really special.
