GEORGIE

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Georgie, the Manager and Director of Oz Tots, has always had a love for children and working with them, since she can remember. Following on from gaining her level 3 Diploma for Early Years workforce in 2017, various paths and choices brought her to where she is today and having her own Nursery School is simply a dream come true! She is excited to manage this fantastic team and get to know all our Acorns, Seedlings, Saplings and Oaks, watching them Play, Learn and Grow.

SIMONE

DEPUTY MANAGER/ ROOM LEAD SEEDLINGS

Simone graduated 6th form college with a Level 2 Award in employment responsibilities and rights in children and young people's settings. Shortly after she joined the Nursery School in which she carried out her work placement and received a Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce

Since relocating from Ashford to Uckfield, Simone noticed Oz Tots and with her abundance of experience, kind and caring nature, we are so thrilled she chose to carry on her childcare journey with us.

JEN

ROOM LEAD (ACORNS), LEVEL 3

Jen recently achieved her level 3 Diploma and has since moved positions from our incredible nursery cook to leading our inquisitive Acorns. Her passion for cooking is utilised in their every day play, whether it be making mud pies in the garden or home-baked sausage rolls.

TRACEY

NURSERY PRACTITIONER (OAKS),

LEVEL 3

Sue has been in the Early years sector for 18 years, working across the board from age 2 to Year 2. Previously a Teaching Assistant, Sue now utilises this expertise in her Early Years Practice and is extremely passionate about her role.
As our newest staff member at Oz Tots, Sue is looking forward to getting to know all the children better and helping them on their way to get the best from their nursery experience.

BRONWYN

ROOM LEAD (LITTLE ACORNS),

LEVEL 3

Bronwyn qualified in 2016 and has been training in childcare since leaving school.
With high levels of experience from age 3 months-5 years, Bronwyn has decided to channel her expertise into under 2's and mentor the team around her, with practices she’s learnt over the years. She implements a calm, inviting, hygee inspired environment, promoting every the children's wellbeing.

MEGAN

NURSERY PRACTITIONER, LEVEL 3

Megan has recently found her way into Childcare. She has an abundance of nieces and nephews which has certainly trained her up in this field. Originally qualified as a florist, Megan uses her artistic flare and arranging skills to implement arts and craft activities that the Oz Tots love!

ERIKA

SENCO (1:1 OAKS)

Erika began her childcare journey in 2016 after graduating from school. In 2017 she furthered her training alongside Georgie, as they embarked on their Level 3 together at a local nursery school.

Erika loves getting creative and channels arts, crafts and sensory play into her practice. Erika also holds a Level 2 SEND qualification and enjoys implementing that knowledge when working 1:1 with our SEN children.

LUCIE

NURSERY PRACTITIONER, LEVEL 2

Lucie received her Level 2 Award in employment responsibilities and rights in children and young people's settings back in May 2020. She took a small break to have her little boy but was keen to get back into the world of childcare after her son registered with a nursery. Fortunately that nursery was us and after seeing the way we work and run she also chose us as an employer to help and support her work and achieve a Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce in the near future.

DEVEN

NURSERY PRACTITIONER (LITTLE ACORNS), TRAINEE

Deven, originally trained in customer services, channelled her skills into childcare after releasing her love for little ones following the arrival of her niece. Now on her way to qualifying as a Level 3, Deven creates beautiful bonds with children and parents, working together in partnership to help the children, develop and grown in the best possible way.

SKYE

NURSERY PRACTITIONER, LEVEL 2

Skye, has been carrying out a 2 year foundation degree in supporting teaching and learning at the University of Greenwich. She’s volunteered at a local primary school to support her course and after working with reception ages children, decided she wanted to channel her expertise into Early Years.

FIONA

NURSERY PRACTITIONER (SEEDLINGS), TRAINEE

Fiona is on her journey to qualifying as a Level 3 Early Years Educator. She found her love for childcare when studying Primary Education at University. Fiona loves inspiring the children to use their imaginations and enjoys setting up activities which promote open ended play.

LUCIE C

NURSERY PRACTITIONER (SEEDINGS), TRAINEE

Lucie C is on her way to qualifying as a Level 3 Early Years Educator. As a mother of two she has gained lots of personal experience and enjoys using her mothering techniques through her daily work here at the nursery.
