FUN THINGS TO DO IN EAST SUSSEX

Updated: Oct 29, 2020

East Sussex has so much to offer from nature trails to animal farms and fields upon fields of lovely countryside to get our mucky welly boots stick in to! Here we list a few of our top things to do in East Sussex this autumn...

1. EXPLORE THE WILDERNESS

Head over to our friends at Wilderness Woods where you can set off on any one of their nature trails and stumble across their fun tree huts, swings and much more! Wilderness Wood is free to visit, and after a lovely walk you can enjoy a hot choccy whilst the little ones play in the mud kitchen! www.wildernesswood.org

2. FEED THE ANIMALS

With a choice of furry friends including sheep, cows, ponies and much more, children can pet and feed the animals for just £5.00 (under 3’s go free!). There’s also a lovely farm shop, with fresh local produce for you to enjoy afterwards!

3. VISIT THE HOME OF WINNIE THE POOH!

Take a stroll around the Ashdown Forest and visit the home that belonged to Winnie- the- Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger, Kanga, Roo and, of course, Christopher Robin! A fun task is to see who can collect the best twig, and head over to Pooh Bridge to play Pooh-Sticks – first to make it under the bridge wins! Find the route here: https://www.ashdownforest.org/enjoy/walking/docs/Walk1_PoohWalksFromGillsLap.pdf

4. EXPLORE THE FAIRY TRAIL AT SHARNFOLD FARM!

Collect lots of pixie point on your way around the magical fairy trail! Whilst you are there be sure to visit the pigs, goats, geese and other farm yard animals on your way round!
